Latinx Book Review is a blog available via the National Hispanic Cultural Center (NHCC) Library. Reviewers are NHCC staff, NHCC volunteers and NHCC Book Club members. Our focus is on books written by Latinx authors of all genres.
The National Hispanic Cultural Center is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and advancement of Hispanic culture, arts, and humanities. The Center presents over 700 events and creates the opportunity for thousands more through its art museum, library, genealogy center, and educational resources. The NHCC is a division of the State of New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs and is further supported by the National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.
The NHCC Library holds over 13,700 titles. We have a large Latinx poetry collection of over 700 titles; children’s bilingual books; popular novels by Latinx authors; history materials encompassing the US Southwest, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and the Iberian Pennisula. We also hold numerous volumes of literature from the international Hispanic diaspora.
